Wallabies drift in RWC Betting after loss to Ireland
The Wallabies have drifted from $3.75 to $7 to win the Rugby World Cup following their shock loss to Ireland.
Sportingbet Australia CEO Michael Sullivan said it was hard to see a side that lost to Ireland winning a World Cup.
“There’s real form and injury concerns for the Wallabies and they’ve made things pretty tough for themselves by losing this game,” said Sullivan.
“They now potentially face South Africa in a quarter final and the All Blacks in a semi if they get through.
“It will take a monumental reversal of form for them even to make the final.”
Ireland has shortened from $51 to $21 after their win while New Zealand have gone from $1.70 to $1.60.
