Todd Carney and Wade Graham to run Shark show

Leading online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au has made the decision for Sharks coach Shane Flanagan, installing Todd Carney and Wade Graham as the $2.25 favourite to be Cronulla’s halves combination for their 2012 NRL Premiership Round One clash against Parramatta.

Carney partnering Jeff Robson is second in the market at $4.00, followed by Carney/Albert Kelly and Carney/Scott Porter at $5.00 and $9.00 respectively. The first combination without Carney is Kelly and Robson at $15.

“Unlike times gone by the Sharks have plenty of options in the halves and the Carney and Graham combo looks to be there best bet,” sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes said.

“We all know how good Carney can be with the ball in his hands and Graham is more of a running type five-eighth so they should complement each other well.

“It is all good news for Todd but we’re not sure the likes of Scott Porter and Chad Townsend will be too pleased with us though.”
