Christina Parie replaces Reece Mastin as X-Factor favourite

Young Sydneysider Christina Parie has replaced Reece Mastin as X-Factor favourite with Sportingbet Australia punters backing her into $3.40.

Sportingbet Australia CEO Michael Sullivan said Parie had easily been the best backed contestant in the first couple of weeks of betting.

“We expected the bulk of the money to come for Mastin but Parie has been the one that punters want,” said Sullivan.

“There’s been a big number of bets on her and we’ve had no choice but to wind her in to favouritism.”

Meanwhile Geelong’s Jacqui Newland is a $4.50 favourite to be next eliminated after narrowly escaping this week.
