Bookmaker refunds bets on Tiger Woods after injury

Online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au has refunded all bets on Tiger Woods for The Players Championship after the former world number one withdrew after completing just nine holes due to injury.

The bookie is refunding all bets on Tiger to win the Sawgrass tournament, as well as any bets on Woods in the Top 10, Top 25, Top US Player, to make and to miss the cut, day one three-balls, as well as group and head to head markets.

“Punters shouldn’t be left caught in the rough when their man only gets through nine of 72 holes, so we’re more than happy to refund all bets on Tiger,” sportsbet.com.au’s Haydn Lane said.
